Or complex. Or time-intensive\u00a0to create.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, a long and complex Lead Magnet will likely convert poorly.<\/p>\n<p>You simply need to solve a <em>specific<\/em> problem with a <em>specific<\/em> solution for a <em>specific<\/em> segment of your market.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the key&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your Lead Magnet must be consumed by the prospect for it to have an impact.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The perfect Lead Magnet will offer tremendous value within five\u00a0minutes of the opt-in. This is a &#8220;rule of thumb,&#8221; of course.<\/p>\n<p>But we don&#8217;t recommend, for example, a mini-course delivered over 14 days or a 300-page ebook as a Lead Magnet. Guide\/Report<\/h2>\n<p>Reports and guides are among the most common types of Lead Magnets.<\/p>\n<p>If you use a Lead Magnet of this type \u2014 be careful.
